Unlock the HTC Touch Diamond Accelerometer The HTC Touch Diamond, like any cool new smartphone, has a built in accelerometer which it only uses in certain applications. Would you like to use it freely? Do you need to take advantage of it in other programs too? So far just your Opera Mobile browser, the HTC Photo Album and Teeter really take advantage of the G-Sensor. And, for whatever reason HTC disabled the manual screen rotation, which would be usually available in a Windows Mobile handset.

Do you need to change all that? Well apparently now you can. There's an application that will let you unlock the HTC Touch Diamond accelerometer. It shouldn't be imprisoned by default right? Well now you can use GSEN from SKKV. GSEN is a free application that will unlock the accelerometer and you will be able to take advantage of it in any application.

With GSEN you will be able to select which applications can use the accelerometer and which shouldn't. The GSEN comes as a freeware solution and v1.5 is available now from SKKV Software. It will work on any HTC Touch Diamond no matter what carrier is selling it.
