By raise of hands how many people are waiting for an Android device? What about a gPhone? With so many people getting ready for an Android device I am actually surprised that most of them have postponed one for 2009. We have T-Mobile and HTC as the only two companies that might have a full Android handset by the end of this year.
And as for the gPhone, no one said anything about actual plans being made about developing one. But it appears that none other than the Ammunition Design Group is designing a potential gPhone. That's a rumored based on credible sources. The company lead by former Apple's director of industrial design, Robert Brunner, has been working on various devices from Palm, Logitech, Dell or Sprint.
And if we think about the recent statements of Google's executives Larry Page, Sergei Brin and Eric Schimidt, we are indeed supposed to be waiting for a brand new, original Android gPhone. That's most likely to happen somewhere in 2009 as nothing points to an earlier release.
