VSPainter LE V1.75 For Pocket PC's Offers Excellent Drawing App

I'll be the first to admit that I was a little skeptical when I decided to load VSPainter onto my Tytn II Pocket PC. However after a few minutes of use, I quickly saw the potential in this freeware drawing app that in many ways in reminiscent of MS Paint with the added bonus of a touchscreen.

VSPainter LE V1.75 is available for use on Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 Pocket PC's. The program was easy to install and the user menu's are very instinctively set up.

As VSPainter is a tried and tested application the new edition offers some fixes, and thus runs more smoothly than newly released applications.

The program includes some really neat features such as Screen distortion.

Then there are your more standardize drawing tools suck as the ability to flip your drawings onto their axis, copy and "stamp" your creations onto other pages, and even work on more than one project at a time thanks to a Multi-Page workspace.

While a stylus is suggested you can also use your fingers thanks to a well though out set of finger tools that make manipulating your screen easier than ever. I have fat fingers and I didn't have a problem drawing on a 2.8 inch screen at all with a QVGA output.

Also, when you simply have to zoom in and use your stylus to manipulate the finer details of your drawings the program offers a zoom function and full screen mode to make touch ups and additions all that much easier. Such as brush stroke options like Line, Circle and square offerings.

Overall a very cool feature that allows for quick renderings and more advanced drawings to be created with easy thanks to a well thought out program with a top notch interface.

If you use Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0 on a Pocket Pc I would definitely suggest taking a look at VSPainter.
