Jul 23 SlyDial Technology Allows Users To Skip Calls And Go Straight To Voicemail
Found in:Software,
Normally I wouldn't write about this type of technology, but SlyDial is a unique program that deserves some attention. The program allows users to dial a number, go directly to a users voicemail without their phone ringing, and leave a message which shows up as a missed call with voicemail on the users device.
Users can access SlyDial by calling 267-SlyDial (267-759-3425). Once in the SlyDial system customers simply dial the phone number they want to call and the voicemail of that customer is accessed, users can then add a voicemail to the users voicemail system. After the voicemail is left a message will show up on the other end showing a missed call or a voicemail message.
While the program is free if your willing to listen to a 15 second message each time, users can also pay $.15 to bypass advertisements.
There are some restrictions, first to avoid abuse of the system the callers phone number must be unrestricted, this assures the receiving party can still see who is placing the call, second the program will only leave messages to cell phone customers, although land line customers can still place the call and leave the message.
Aside from chickening out on break up calls many customers use the system to leave voicemail messages to business contacts whom they may not have the time to speak to in depth at the time of the call and to notify family members and friends of their plans and whereabouts to be accessed at a different time.
