Jul 24 Verizon to Ditch Palm Treo 755p
Found in:Palm, Treo, Verizon,
If the Palm Treo 755p is your favorite phone in th e whole wide world, well then better hurry and get one. Verizon is going to ditch the Palm Treo 755p and make way for the Palm Centro coming over. You’d think Verizon would still keep a phone that has been around for a few months, but they simply choose not ot do so. The Palm Treo 755 was released a few months back and it will disappear from Verizon’s stocks.
The Treo 755p is out of stock in some Verizon locations so you should make up your mind now. If you want it go and get it while you can. This Treo will sell for about $99 after a rebate and after choosing a 2 year agreement. The Treo has the same price after $70 mail in rebate.
Verizon has recently launched a Treo 755p ROM upgrade to version 1.08. That’s a regular move before handsets get removed from the market. Don’t get me wrong, Verizon will still offer support for all Treo 755p owners, but when a carrier ditches their phone, maybe you should do that too. Get a new phone, not necessarily a Palm. Maybe something similar would better suit your needs.
