findme a Twitter-Like Application for Smartphones

You might remember various Twitter-like applications which we have presented here over time. We have a similar concept on the way called findme. With findme you will be able to find me and all your other friends. See what I am up too, what am I doing and where I am doing it.

Besides adding a status to your profile you’ll be able to add location information like a zip or post code. findme will give your friends directions to where you are. findme will work on most phone without needing any specific hardware or a GPS chip. So whether you own a BlackBerry, Windows Mobile or Symbian S60 smartphone, you will be able to use it. Probably we should expect Palm and iPhone support too, so findme could be a very accessible application, no matter what cell phone you fancy.
