Since we're talking about competition today, we can't overlook LiMo. The LiMo Foundation announced today 7 new handsets to join their fleet. No matter how smart these are, this is a bold move. It surely shows that LiMo wants in the mobile business and it's serious about getting its share.
Here are the 7 new LiMo handsets:
- MOTOZINE ZN5 from Motorola;
- FOMA N906i, FOMA N906iμ, FOMA N906iL and FOMA N706i from NEC;
- FOMA P906i and FOMA P706iμ from Panasonic Mobile Communications.
Features include better cameras, international 3G via HSDPA roaming capabilities, GPS, mobile TV and video streaming. There's also secure payment and advanced mail functionalities. Well that sounds good so far. And there's more; apparently there's talk about high resolution displays and more intuitive user interfaces. Not to bad LiMo!
