The HTC Touch Diamond is continuing its worldwide reach, this time the device is heading to Canadian CDMA carrier Telus. The launch will be the first "official" offering of the HTC Touch Diamond in North America and for the most part will feature the same specs as the current GSM versions, minus the GSM configuration which is replaced by CDMA and adding an exciting EVDO high speed data connection offering.
The cost of the Telus Touch Diamond will start at $149.99 with a 3 year contract, while a two year contract will leave the cost at $349.99 ending with a $399.99 price tag for a 1-year signed agreement. Contract weary customers can also satisfy their cravings and avoid a new contract or contract extension by shelling out $449.99
The unit will feature the same 3.2 mega pixel camera, 2.8 inch QVGA screen and 4gb of internal memory that has been offered for the GSM version. The unit will also feature HTC TouchFlo 3D technology, Built-in GPS capabilities and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
The unit then adds to its arsenal by featuring the Telus High Speed EVDO Rev A network, meaning high speed data transfers are only a few key strokes away.
