PocketCAS for Windows Mobile

We’ve certainly seen our share of Math dedicated mobile or Pocket PC applications so far but we have more. Math does play an important part of our lives, but unless you are still studying it to some extent, you won’t be using this application that much. PocketCAS will work on any device Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher.

PocketCAS is a freeware mobile version of the open source Computer Algebra System. With it you’ll be able to quickly solve some complex problems like integration and derivation of non trivial functions and differential equations.

If linear algebra is your drug, then you’ll also be able to solve linear equation systems, to multiply and invert matrices and find eigenvectors.

With the built-in TeX output you will see the results in the exact mathematical way you’d usually find in a math book. Isn’t that convenient? As for further customization you’ll be able to configure the mathematical keyboard with most mathematical functions.
