G-Invaders For HTC Touch Diamond Offers Excellent Freeware

If your a fan of the old space invaders game you'll probably love G-Invaders an HTC Touch Diamond Windows Mobile based Pocket PC game that offers a new take on an old favorite thanks to the ability to use the users motions to control your ship and fight off enemy forces.

G-Invaders uses the HTC Touch Diamond accelerometer, this means users control their ship as they battle by tilt the device from side to side.

Personally I found the controls to be very smooth, it takes a little while to get use to the tilting motion as you simultaneously try to shoot down your enemies combatants, but once you get a hold of it, its rather an easy game to play.

While I did like the game the authoring programmer will be the first to admit that as a beta release there are still some additions that need to be made. Scoring, Weapon and Shield Updates, Ship Damage Meters and more need to still be added, however its still a fun and simple game to play and at this point to master.

This is one i'd highly recommend taking a look at.
