Aug 12 Verizon Wireless Has Visual Voicemail Up and Running

Verizon Wireless is getting ready to fully roll their Visual Voicemail service for its subscribers. It appears that yesterday their new application was introduced to a limited number of subscribers. And not for free.
The Visual Voice Mail application has a visual interface to help you manage various voice messages. Thfat means you can chose to check out any voicemail you want without going through them in the natural sequential order. Besides browsing, listening, deleting and replying to your voicemail you will be able to archive them. Futher more, you can add contacts straight from the Visual Voice Mail screen.
$2.99 per month gets you this application. You’ll be able to store up to 40 messages for 40 days, create up to 10 greetings, and get about 20 distribution lists and 50 distribution members. But enough numbers for today. Unfortunately Verizon has the service up and running only for LG Voyager owners. That means your phone is likely to get it in the following months.
One more bad news is that you’ll have to go in store to get your Visual Voice Mail copy. We’ll be waiting some feedback from those 5 Verizon LG Voyagers owners out there.
