Nokia N78 Nam Finally Receives Firmware Update

When Nokia released their newest N78 firmware offerings about a month ago, North American customers were a little bit more than just angry, they were actually pretty outraged that two updates were released, none of which supported the N78 NAM version for North America.

Finally it looks like Nokia is taking those customers seriously, releasing a new firmware update for the N78 NAM version that fixes many of the issues addressed with the European firmware updates.

The firmware offers three major updates:

First, Naviscroll has had its sensitivity tweaked out. Under the new firmware the sensitivity is pulled back, making accidental movement when pressing down harder to achieve.

Next the N78 Right softkey issues are fixed. Some users had complained that sometimes when they pushed the button nothing would happen.

Finally the N78 Music Player is finally keeping track of podcasts for resume. What's this mean for users? Lets say you reboot your phone or it turns off accidentally, when the unit is powered back up your music resumes in the same play where you left it. This is especially great when you're on the go and need to constantly stop whatever your listening to.
