The Bold Arrives in the UK on August 16th

We’ve seen the Bold preparing to be launched in various countries so far and we were so surprised to have Chile as the first country to actually roll this great RIM creation. It’s time for the UK to get it at is has surely waited more than enough.

The official carrier will be Orange UK but so far the info we have on the whole launch is rather scarce. We know that the Bold arrives in the UK Saturday, August 16th but we lack more info about pricing and plans.

This BlackBerry is said to be offered for free to business customers as long as they also opt in for an 18 months contract priced at a hefty 45GBP or $90 per month. Since this BlackBerry’s 3G capabilities will surely be forged at maximum we’d like more info on data costs for the general public. I guess we’ll have to wait for the official release to tell you more!
