Published by Chris in:Samsung, Omnia, Smartphones, Orange,
Orange is prepared to roll out the Samsung Omnia and it seems that Orange is prepared to offer it exclusively in the UK. The 16GB version was scheduled to arrive in stores yesterday. Should you get the 40GBP or $80 per month plan you will have the handset for free. Or that’s what people say.
No official announcement from Orange UK or Samsung has been made to confirm the rumors but you could check it out with Orange representatives in UK if you want an Omnia.
Here’s a quick recap of Omnia’s specs. Just in case you forgot what this phone was all about. The Omnia has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, 3G via HSDPA for up to 7.2Mbps where available. WiFi and GPS are included too. You have Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, FM radio with RDS and 16GB storage with the microsSDHC slot. Further more there’s a TV slot and more sophisticated features like geo-tagging, business card recognition and content sharing.
