T-Mobile to Officially Launch HTC Android Phone

T-Mobile has announced today that they it will launch the first Android phone this year. The Deutsche Telekom spokesman didn’t mention when the phone will be launched. No specific details were given but it looks like the HTC Dream, the Android phone prepared for T-Mobile is getting closer and closer as we speak.

In the mean time the phone has been approved by the FCC for the USA so if we add these two pieces of news together we end up with a phone ready to be announced and fully released.

With Google’s Android coming to play in the mobile world we are going to see even more awesome applications but for a different platform. And the HTC Dream might just have what it takes to battle against current smartphones, and especially the iPhone from Apple.

We’re waiting for the actual release in the upcoming months. By October you might just end up buying and Android phone from T-Mobile!
