Aug 20 HTC Brings Multi-touch to Windows Mobile
Found in:Windows Mobile, Microsoft, HTC, Multi-touch,
How much time have we been waiting for multi-touch support for our Windows Mobile? Well quite some time to be honest. Multi-touch is going to enhance our daily mobile experience. Sure it will take a while to master it but it should be worth it.
Apparently it’s HTC the company to offer multi-touch support first and not Microsoft. You will need a Touch Diamond, a Touch Pro or any other compatible smartphones from HTC to make this work. The surface under their display is a capacitive touch area with multi-touch.
Multi-touch isn’t active for now but it’s there and it can be used. And the software certainly recognizes it. That means you can activate it with the right software and make it work for you. Below’s a proof of that multi-touch action in a Windows Mobile environment.
