New AOL AIM for Windows Mobile

How is your Instant Messenger doing? Is it ok? Does it satisfy your needs? Have you tried the new AOL AIM for Windows Mobile? You can check out version Beta 5 whenever you feel ready.

The new Beta will get you usual bug fixes and it will improve connectivity and performance. There’s a new Get a Screen Name link at login and there are more supported devices. Here’s a quick list of Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 devices which can use the new AOL AIM:

• Sprint Mogul and HTC Touch
• AT&T Blackjack II, Tilt
• Sprint Samsung Ace
• Motorola Q
• Verizon Wireless XV6800
• Most Palm Treo's

With AIM Beta 5 you will always be in close contact with your friends wherever you might be. Send instant message to let everyone know what you are doing. You can manage your AIM status, your Buddy list and much more. AIM for your mobile messaging will look and feel just like the desktop version. And if you don’t really like it, you can always drop it and switch back to your alternative messenger.
