Review: Tiny Twitter For Windows Mobile Devices

Twitter.com is an ultra popular website that allows users to share quick updates on what their doing and where they are with their Twitter Network friends. Unfortunately there is very little support for Twitter via your mobile phone, until now. Tiny Twitter gives mobile users control over how and when they receive and send Twitter messages via on-board synchronization options.

Tiny Twitter is compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 Pocket PC devices and installs with the use of a simple download capable file which can be found at the link shown above.

Once installed the program lets users add new twitter messages to their personal Twitter pages by logging in via their personal twitter username and password.

The Synchorization section of Tiny Twitter lets users choose how often they connect to twitter, choices include 4, 15, 30 minutes and Every Hour, or never if you want to turn off the program.

The program also gives users the choice of displaying a pop up message when new twitters arrives and asks if they want images to be displayed.

Users can also add GPS Geo-Tags to the mix if they want to share their location with their Twitter friends. Message can go along with the geo-tags by using the standard Windows Mobile on screen keyboard for easy typing access.

Overall the display of Twitter updates is easy to follow and logical, the program installs easy, and entering your own Twitters and GPS tagged information is simple. The Tiny Twitter menus are also intuitive and the program uses very little system resource. I would recommend this Twitter program to any Twitter addicts.
