Freeware: PockeTwit Freeware For Windows Mobile Pocket PC Devices

Twitter is an ultra popular social network site that allows users to leave their friends information about their whereabouts and what they are doing at any given time. Its often been referred to as a "Micro Social Networking Site" and given the number of users who access the site via their mobile devices its no surprise that Twitter freeware apps are popping up all over the place, but few are as efficient or well thought out as PocketTwit.

PockeTwit is compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 operating systems, and requires at least the .NET Compact Framework 2.0. Because the application runs off the Twitter network users are also required to sign up for a Twitter account and have a data connection available on their device.

Installing PockeTwit was a breeze with only a few clicks needed. After installation I found the program to have one of the better Twitter layouts I've seen, reading messages and sorting them was easy thanks to the programs easy to navigate and intuitive user interface.

My favorite feature was the ability to find a message and by clicking on it choose whether to look at a friends timeline, reply to their Twitter, looking at the public timeline, set a status, and to adjust my settings.

This program is definitely one of the most interactive Twitter mobile apps available, its easy to setup, easy to send and receive Twitters, and easy to adjust your public and private profile settings.

If you're looking for an easy to navigate, and surprisingly well thought out Twitter interface, I would highly recommend PockeTwit.
