Xperia X1 SDK Released for Developers

Are you good at developing all sorts of applications for Windows Mobile gadgets? Are you waiting for the Xperia X1 to unleash your creativity and talent? Well wait no more. The X1 isn’t here yet but Sony Ericsson made its SDK available for all developers.

Creating applications especially customized for the Xperia will be simple enough. The SDK runs on visual studio which is familiar to most Windows Mobile application developers. The Xperia X1 is emulated on PC and this virtual version will let you test the features of your application. It’s the second best thing available since the handset isn’t out yet.

The most problematic test will be the touchscreen of the Xperia. You’ll have to click your way via a PC mouse on the emulated version. But don’t wait around. Get your SDK today and start programming.
