Palm Treo 800w owners should be happy. Palm knows about existing USB and battery issues and it has a software fix ready for you to use. Apparently some 800w don't recognize some USB devices while some 800w devices won't recharge their batteries. Palm has figured out these are software problems.
In case your Palm doesn't have anymore juice left, simply connect it to your computer via an USB port. The Treo will start charging via USB. When it reaches 25% you can start the software update. The software can be downloaded to your Palm or computer or it can be applied over the air.
The only problem might appear in case neither your USB nor your battery work. If that happens maybe it's time you yelled at some customer service representatives and got another Palm handset. Possibly the new Palm Treo Pro.
