Sep 07 Nokia N95-1 Upgraded Again Via Firmware V30 Release
Found in:Nokia, Mobile News,
Nokia has once again proven that North America Versions of their units are considered "second class citizens." The company has released the Nokia N95-1 non-NAM firmware version V30 upgrade, leaving the Nokia N95-Nam Version in the dust, a move seen by many North American users in the last several months in regards to non-European versions of devices.
Hopefully the Nam Version will be released shortly and offer the same upgrades being offered by the newest European handset firmware upgrade.
The new firmware 3.0.015 version helps reduce book time from 16 seconds down to 15 seconds, while users of the N95-1 will also notice brighter pictures, autorotates, a new share online icon, and there's always Maps 2.0 included free of charge.
Users who choose to update however will be required to save all of their contacts, back up their information, and re-install any 3rd party applications they may be currently using on their cell phones.
