Sep 20 Freeware: Klaxon 2 For Windows Mobile Offers New Alarm Clock Capabilities
Published by cellubration in:Windows Mobile, Freeware,
The standard Alarm Clock on Windows Mobile devices is great if you want to simply sound an alarm at a certain time, however that's about the extent of its features. If you want the capabilities of the Windows Mobile alarm clock with added features then you should take a look at Klaxon 2 an alarm clock feature that offers enhanced snooze functions, multiple alarm settings, and even a cool "shake" feature.
Klaxon 2 will work with Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 and will even work on a screen with a 480 x 640 resolution. The application also installs with an easy one file setup and is ready to go.
My favorite part of Klaxon 2 is the G-Sensor functions, for instance on my HTC Touch Diamond I can put the device in snooze mode by simply flipping the phone over, or if I want to turn the alarm off I can simply shake the device, both options worked perfectly.
The interface on Klaxon is also very easy on the eyes, offering both clean lines and an intuitive interface. The developers states that they are working on new button artwork, but I actually appreciated the simplicity of this devices buttons.
I also liked that each alarm I set could have its own name, for instance "Work" or "Shopping For Clothes" etc.
Overall this is a great little application that works as advertised and is easy to install and configure based on your own needs.

i installed on HTC touch HD and works fine. One annoying thing was i could not set time by keyboard. you have to increment by one touch per unit. Imagine tapping 55 times to put a 6.55 am alarm time.
