Sep 21 Firefox Mobile Announced For 2010 Release

If your a fan of the Windows Mobile Internet Explorer, Safari, or Opera Mini browser you may soon find yourself looking at a new option, Firefox Mobile, but if you're a huge fan of Firefox for your desktop you'll be waiting for some time to use it on your mobile phone as the popular desktop browsing company doesn't plan a mobile phone, smartphone, or pocket pc release date until 2010.

While Firefox Mobile codenamed "Fennec" isn't expected until 2010 it looks promising, including support for Windows Mobile devices, Symbian smartphones, and Linux based mobile operating systems.

No details have been provided yet in terms of the functions that will be offered by Firefox Mobile, or whether or not the software will work with Google Android or iPhone Mobile Operating Systems.
