Socks Proxy for Windows Mobile

Socks Proxy is a freeware application for Windows Mobile smartphones or Pocket PC. Besides Windows Mobile 5.0 or later it will also require the presence of .NET Compact Framework 2.0 installed on your device in order to work.

A SOCKS proxy is a proxy server which is capable of forwarding all types of network traffic. It’s similar to a NAT router. Just type the port you would like the proxy to listen on and then click the “Start Proxy” button. The default proxy server is set to 1080, but if you know how to handle such a program you will be able to customize your version of Socks Proxy.
