HTC T8290 Will Have WiMAX Support Sprint has just released its XOHM WiMAX network in Baltimore and it’s testing it in other cities across the USA. Are you looking for a phone with WiMAX support? HTC has just the thing.

The HTC T8290 has popped all around the web and everyone is talking about its WiMAX support. It’s basically an HTC Touch with WiMAX right? Besides the WiMAX you’ll be interested in the 3.8 inch 800 x 480 WVGA LCD screen. There’s GSM support, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0.

We’d like to share more but for now that’s all we have. The phone is apparently available in Russia. Or if not available yet, it’s probably going to get there soon. Either way, we’re going to let you know what happens next!
