Western Union and Orascom Telecom to Offer Mobile Money Transfers

Orascom is a mobile carrier working in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The company has partnered up with Western Union to offer its subscribers the possibility of completing money transfers from their mobile phones.

A mobile wallet software will be used for quick money transfers from and to a mobile phone via the Western Union global remittance network. The two companies have not announced yet when the mobile service will be available, but when it does we’d like to check out the software used.
