Oct 28 How to change the TouchFLO 3D theme

First you need to have installed Diamond TF3D Config installed on your phone. Second step is to download the theme you want and save it to the following location "Internal Storage\Themes\", if this folder is not available you should create it for yourself. Run the Diamond TF3D Config and go to its second tab called Appearance. At the top you should view dropdown box, from which you can select the theme you've previously copied. Next steps are to click on Apply button after which you will be shown a new screen with Start button on it. Just tap it and wait few minutes to have the theme correctly installed.

To remove the installed theme go to the Appearance tab again and run the Restore Default action.

I also cannot see the appearance/theme tab, I hve followed all the above instructions to a 'T' nd cannot see it. Regards
did anyone get this to work? i have no theme box either.
in case anyone is still stumped. the version limked at the top of the page is old. do a google search for tf3d .6 and youll be all set

Hey, I've got the dutch version of the HTC Diamond. wm 6.1 and stuff like the english version. But my dropdown version does not have any of the downloaded themes. I tryed 'Path...' but nothing found. Please somebody help. I'm now going to search google for the .6 version cheryl told about. I got this version from www.freewarepocketpc.net Thnx peeps

The box said it was STRICTLY for the Diamond only. Unless someone got this to work on the Touch Pro.

I cannot figure out how to get the theme to show in the dropdown menu. I have downloaded the theme and moved it to a themes file. Then I chose that file throught the "path" tab but still do not see it as a theme option....please help!
Nevermind...I figured out that I had to move the file to the main themes folder.
Ok.. So I want this theme but a couple probs: 1. I use the HTC Touch Pro (Fuze) 2. When I try to save the file on my phone, there isnt a file name "internal storage." I dont know how to create this file and allow me to save the theme to it. If someone could help that would be great..
I have the orignal htc touch. Is there any way to make it work? I open the tf3d .6 and i can't even see or select any themes. I really wish I can get this to work. please help
Where can I find the main themes folder?
I have succesfuly installed this to a Touch Pro. I installed the cab, created a "themes"folder in the root of my storage card, ran config and selected Appearance, used path to navigate to the themes folder I created making sure to have selected it before hitting okay. Then used the dropdown to select the new theme and ran it through. Any one know where I can dl new themes from? Or if there is a tut anywhere on creating new .theme files?
0.6.7 is the latest version, it's available at xda-developers.com along with plenty of other themes. It works fine on the Diamond, Touch Pro, Raphael and Fuze. You have to be careful with the themes though because many of them are designed for the Diamond, which means portrait only. Since the other phones have a landscape mode, the landscape screen will be screwed up. @Paul- You have to follow the instructions here. You must CREATE a folder to put your downloaded themes in. This posting gives an example as internal storage/themes, but you can create a folder anywhere you want including your storage card. It doesn't matter where the theme file is as long as you choose the path to the folder you created and put the themes in.
i had the same problem as TCDown. On my Touch Pro, I created a floder in the internal memory and pasted all my new downloaded themes into it. I clicked the appearance tab and then the drop down arrow and none of my themes were there. Help me out.
I can't even get the .cab file to run - it asks to quit or look at the report. I humbly ask any touch pro user to email me at martinjkelly@mac.com to tell me how to get past this!
brilliant ive got it make sure you unzip the file into the "themes" file at the root of internal storage first then try it

IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE THEME IN THE DROP DOWN BOX, HERE IS WHY: 1. You need to select Path... at the top right. After selecting Path you can select the folder where you have your files. 2. You have unzipped your files. DO NOT UNZIP THE FILES. Leave the files in the ".THEME" file.
I got this to work on my Xperia, after a ROM updat of course. here's my question though, the touchflo screen doesn't fill in my whole entire lcd, is there a way to control the size?

i have the tough pro and i cannot get the latest version to work on my phone, i have version 0.5.1. and there is no drop down box on my version to change the themes....i have looked everywhere, and i cannot figure it out....can someone please help me....thanks
does anyone have the detaul tf3d theme files for the HTC Touch HD? I installed a custom theme and restoring default did not restore the message alert counter graphics and I don't want to have to hard reset to retore them if I can avoid it!
After I select start which is supposed to be the last step I get an error message that says cannot find central directory. I am using a Diamond, any help would be greatly appreciated

I need help troubleshooting this program. i got the diamond tg3d to work for my sprint touch pro, but i can not get the themes to go into the drop down screen. I think i created the internal storage\theme file but i have no real idea. Please help if you could give me a step by step.
hi, do i have to have an HTC device for themes like this to work , or will they work on most common wm6 touch screen mobile as well ? ty( i noticed Mike says he managed to make this work on Xperia but had size problems )
anyone know why i cant get the file to run? it installs and then when i run the program it says please quit and restart the program. please help
To get the file to run you have to delete "tweek". Go into programs and look for the HTC Diamond program. Open it.delete tweek, try again. Now one thing I am not sure of, some files you have to rename as Theme. My confusion is which files???
I got this to work easily on my htc fuze the first time. All I did was transfer the .cab file over to the phone and installed it.
Question everything is working i can install the config and i can install the theme (install time of theme +/- 45sec) after the reboot the theme i install doesn't starts up.... anybody got a answer for me??? why it isn't working thanks

Do we have to release the theme before selected? cuz it's zipped.... btw I can't open the path where I create in the Internal Storage does anyone have any idea or same problem?

My Touch Diamond keeps saying "its running low on memory" and then stops loading.... and shows the [Finish] button. and its not even done. any idea how to fix this?

I installed this theme without any problem and it looked great, but, next day my flip clock disappeared and I only had small normal digits for the clock. All other features are still there. I tried a reinstall, then going back to the default theme. Still no flip clock. Any ideas anyone?

Hope this helps (at the very least, for the Touch Pro users), here goes: FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T GET THE TFD PROGRAM TO RUN: Go to the install folder under your "Windows" directory. Open it. There should be a link for "Tweaks." Delete it. Your program should now work as intended. FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T GET THEIR THEMES INSTALLED: I'm going to assume you haven't unzipped them at all. First off, to make accessing them easy, create a folder under your "Internal Storage" directory called "Themes." Now copy the themes you plan on using into that folder. Double click them to open up WinZip. Extract the .theme files into your new Themes folder. Now run TFD and follow the instructions above.
i did install the them but my phone wont start again !! i have only the loading icon on my screen what should i do
