Android and the T-Mobile G1 has just been officially released just a few days ago and already security flaws in the OS has been sniffed out.Researchers from Independent Security Evaluators are claiming that the flaw is withing the browser and can put users at a risk of getting their handset hacked. If that should happen, hackers could get a hold of saved passwords and whatever sensitive information laying dormant in the Android browser.
"A user of an Android phone who uses the Web browser to surf the Internet may be exploited if they visit a malicious page" That doesn't sound too good for Android users, but considering the OS is an open-source effort, if all these claims are in fact true then expect the problem to be quickly rectified in the coming days in the form of a patch.
