The Google Android chuu chuu train is speeding off with full throttle as ASUS the EEEPC maker jumps on board for the joyride.

It has long being said that ASUS would soon release an Android device, most people like myself assumed ASUS would most likely brand the device with the popular and well known EEE. Weeks back Google had invited ASUS to join the OHA [Open Handset Alliance] that only made speculations and assumptions more believable as time goes by.

Analysts whom appear to have insider information are saying that ASUS will release their 3G Android EEE phone early next year with the rest of the world to follow shortly after, if this information proves to be true then I could be looking at my next phone, what about you?

Android is Google’s open-source alternative to the iPhone, Windows Mobile, and Symbian (which will be going open-source in 2010) The first Android phone is the HTC T-Mobile branded G1 which released officially on October the 23rd.
