The Android security flaw that was reported recently has now been patched up. Google sent out the update to Android users in the form of a message on the phone and before you know it, all is well.

Google Android

Just recently Independent Security Evaluators researchers discovered a major threat in the Google Android OS that leaves the web-browser open for attackers to sniff out the browser cookies and save passwords. Although Google played down the severity of the threat, they didn't waste any time in getting a fix for the problem out the gates.

Users will be shown a message stating that "a system update is available", and given the option of installing it immediately or delaying the process. Downloading the patch takes just minutes, and will protect against the documented attack.

So Android users, using your G1 browser is much more safer than before, but don't get all tingly inside now, more security threats will arise whether in the near of further off future.
