T-Mobile/HTC G1 the first Google Android mobile phone is set to pave its way to the Chinese mega super deluxe mobile market next year courtesy of China Mobile.

The G1 which is currently one of the hottest devices to come out this year has brought new life to the wailing T-Mobile network. With its Googley clean interface, top notch features, and its open source-ness, the G1 is quickly making new friends.

China Mobile

Open Handset Alliance member China Mobile are said to be currently in talks with Google to get the G1 into China, kinda like Android coming out party in Asia. According to Kai-Fu Lee, chief executive officer of Google China, the G1 may not hit the Chinese shores until next year, but that isn't stopping China Mobile from working with Google research team in China to lay the groundwork for introduction of G1.

Android and the G1 is expected to succeed greatly in China mainly because of its open source nature compared to the Apple iPhone which is in my honest opinion, an overrated device that does not worth crying home about.
