Belote is a freeware game for Windows Mobile 5.0 or later. Belote is the French cards game you were thinking about. It’s played with 32 cards and you have to, well, win to go further.

The game is played between you and your team and the computer’s team. You can play alone too but it’s not as fun. You can set the speed of the game from slow to fast depending on how good you are. And you can also adjust the level of the artificial intelligent partner.

All you have to do is simple. Get more hands to get more points. Win the game and start over. In real life your partner would play a big part in the whole game as this popular cards game can only be played in pairs of two. I guess you’ll just have to rely on your virtual partner this time.
