Nokia Updated Its Q4 and 2009 Outlook Nokia has just reviewed its vision of its future market share for the last quarter of 2008 and for the following year. The Finish company expects that sales for the last quarter of the year will be significantly lower than previously expected. But the market share will stay practically the same.

Due to the current economic worldwide situation, Nokia expects to sell less mobile phones in 2009 than it did in 2008. Nokia's CEO Olli-Pekka Kakkasvuo says "Nokia believes that its advantages of scale, leading brand, superior logistics, low cost and broad product portfolio are competitive advantages that will enable us to distinguish ourselves from the competition in a challenging 2009."

Taking a look at the Q4 projected numbers, Nokia estimates that 330 million will be sold which will turn the total to 1.24 billion Nokia units sold in 2008. Let's see what Nokia's main competitors are going to do in the near future. Probably nobody will be able to take Nokia's crown just yet.
