
Under the deal, Yahoo! oneSearch will provide T-Mobile customers access to news, financial information, weather conditions, Flickr photos and Web images, to Web and mobile web sites.
A Reuters report said that the deal will help Yahoo! reach T-Mobile's 105 million subscribers.
"Consumers no longer need to surf through a sea of links to find the information they want while on-the-go. Yahoo! oneSearch delivers relevant information on virtually any topic -- including up-to-date airline flight details, integrated information from Wikipedia and Yahoo! Answers, and much more," said a statement from Yahoo!.
Yahoo! today also started to deliver "mobile sponsored search results" and "display advertising" within search results sent to T-Mobile subscribers.
The service allows advertisers to "reach their target audiences at large scale and with impact".
Yahoo! is slated to provide similar services to T-Mobile International customers in 10 European countries.
