The iPhone is looking more and more like a simple toy as time slowly goes by. The newest mobile OS Android has done something the iPhone may never do and that is showing Flash content.
Google's Andy Rubin was quite happy to show off Flash running like a dream on the T-Mobile G1 at the Adobe MAX developer conference a few days ago. The G1 was used to show the full web on a small screen and how with Flash integrated can make small screen browsing so much better significantly.
“We are excited to be working alongside Adobe to bring Flash technology to Android,” said Andy Rubin, director of mobile platforms at Google. “Adobe Flash is crucial to a rich Internet and content experience on mobile devices and we are thrilled that Google will be one of the first companies along with the Open Handset Alliance to bring Flash technology to the smartphone market.”
Android users, don't get too hot headed and ready to blow because you may never get to play around with Flash on your handset until Q1 next year the earliest. In a nutshell, iPhone users are the only ones who will get left out of all this as Apple appears to be scared of what Flash could do to their App Store business, might aswell ya'll switch over to the land of Android, Windows Mobile or Symbian for your Flash fix.
