New mobile web browser Skyfire is now officially available for download by Symbian and Windows Mobile phone users worldwide.
Skyfire promises users to bring the real web to their mobiles, "not some mobile web" or mere mobile versions of websites.
Skyfire has received rave reviews here and elsewhere.
The new web browser supports the following Symbian-powered Nokia phones: E61, E61i, E62, E71, N73, N75, N76, N78, N79, N80, N81, N82, N85, N95 and N96.
The following Windows Mobile 5 and 6 smartphones are also supported: HTC Tilt, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Fuze, Motorola Q and Q9, Palm Pro, Palm 800W and Samsung Blackjack II.
Please take note that Skyfire only works on phones, not PDAs, even if they're running on Windows Mobile.
It is a completely-free program that you may now get it at the Skyfire site or point your current mobile browser to this address: get.skyfire.com. Of course, WIFI or 3G internet access is required to surf the web using Skyfire.
