AT&T plans to add the Symbian-powered Pantech C630 phone to its 3G lineup this December at a contract price tag of only $49.
Beta News reports that the C630 is "a candybar phone" featuring Advanced GSM (AGSM) technology, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a speakerphone, Bluetooth, an MP3 music player, a microSD slot, Internet Yellow Pages, e-mail, instant messaging, and AT&T's Video Exchange and Video Sharing.
The report also said that C630 will be a new addition to eight other affordable phones in AT&T's 3G lineup, which includes the clamshell-type C610 and the Slate which is outfitted with a QWERTY keyboard.
The C610 is currently the cheapest Pantech 3G phone being sold online by AT&T, with a price tag of $19.99 with a new contract.
