The erstwhile market leader said that its latest smartphone offering is now being sold by three carriers in Argentina.

The Treo Pro is also available in Chile through Entel, in Costa Rica through ICE, in Guatemala through Claro and Tigo, in Mexico through Movistar and Telcel/America Movil, in Panama through Movistar and in Puerto Rico Claro/America Movil.

The Treo Pro principally targets business users with its one-touch WIFI butto, special screen enhancements, Microsoft Direct Push Technology, Microsoft System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008 and integrated GPS.

But despite the introduction of Treo Pro and big sales of the low-end Centro, Palm continues to be left behind in the smartphone industry.
