Palm OS fans may get themselves a new timekeeper utility: the new TimeDrift.

Software maker Tamoggemon said its new product will make sure a Palm smartphone will always be accurate through "a highly customized snooping algorithm".

The company says that TimeDrift is important because most timekeepers in Treos and Centro stop when the device is reset or when the battery is changed.

TimeDrift works with the Palm Centro, Treo 680, Treo 700p and Treo 755p.
