LG Electronics has reportedly released a new phone, the Franklin Planner LG-SU100 in the South Korean market.

LG-SU100

Initial news say that the new LG handset is equipped with a three-inch OLED touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, an electronic dictionary, global roaming, Bluetooth and a web browser viewer.

Now available in black, LG has said that a white-colored model will be out by January 2009.

The phone is priced at about $475 700,000 and is sold through SK Telecom.

The LG-SU100 takes its name from the old Franklin planners, paper-based "time management system" that has a ring binder holding loose leaf pages.

Obviously, the name Franklin Planner has nothing to do with this handset.
