The iPhone's arrival in Walmart stores may come as soon as this month, said the Bloomberg report.
Walmart employees reached by Bloomberg said they were now being trained on how to sell the iconic device.
In September, rival retailer Best Buy became the first mass retailer to sell the iPhone. Previously, the iPhones can only be bought at Apple or AT&T stores.
Another website, the BoyGeniusReport, has claimed that Walmart may be selling a 4GB model of the iPhone for just $99 under a two-year contract.
The original 4GB iPhone started at a whooping price of $399.
