Are my eyes deceiving me, or am I really looking at a Blackberry Application Suite running on top of Windows Mobile? It appears so, this is allegedly confirmed by RIM.
RIM is on a mission to get their Blackberry Application Suite running on top of other mobile OS's, the first victim is Windows Mobile at the moment but don't expect anything mind blowing with this thing. The Blackberry Application Suite is approximately 32MB in size, features usable right now are Blackberry email, PIN messaging, calendar, tasks, address book and memos. By looking at the video everything seems to work along the lines of a real Blackberry, but there are short comings as you might expect.
Important things that doesn't work in RIMs first release are things like, GPS, Blue-tooth, Wi-Fi, Video Playback, and making phone calls, basically this latest venture by RIM sucks and should only be attempted by those who doesn't give a crap, like me. Anyway, check out the video below and say what you think in the comment area, its a shaky cam and a bit blurry but if you aren't blind you won't have a problem.
