X-Plane Airliner, which is now available for just $4.99 at the Apple App Store, is a great flight simulation app where users can choose either one of the Boeing 777, 747 or 787, or perhaps the Airbus A-380 to fly.

X-Plane gives a heady feeling due to its simulation of managing a flight of any of these airplanes: The app provides control of throttle, flaps, speed brakes and trim, and includes a complete Electronic Flight Instrument System or EFIS.

You may also try the X-Helicopter, the flight simulator for those who dream of flying the Robinson R-22, the Bell-206, the BlackHawk, and the Sea King, a land and sea rescue helicopter. It will lets you fly around the Grand Canyon in the US just for fun.
