SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry Sling Media has announced that its SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry smartphones will be available for a public beta. SlingPlayer Mobile will be released on December 30, 2008, so you will be able to get it just before the year ends.

You need a BlackBerry device working on 4.5 OS:

- BlackBerry Curve 8900
- BlackBerry 8820
- BlackBerry Curve 8320
- BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220
- BlackBerry Pearl 8120

SlingPlayer Mobile is said to work on EDGE-only models like the 8100, 8110, 8300, 8310, 8800 and 8810 but it will unofficially support 3G and WiFi connections. Here's where you have to go to get it:
