A new day and guess what? A new version of Fennec, Mozilla's Firefox Mobile which has now slipped in to Alpha 2 only on the Nokia N810.

Mozilla are dead serious about getting Firefox in the mobile arena in the form of Fennec, when the full version hits download sites, it is expected to take the mobile phone market by storm. Anyway, Mozilla has a long road ahead as Fennec has just took a baby step into Alpha 2, it is not clear when Fennec will see the lights of Beta before the full release but sources are pointing to the 2nd half of next year.

Currently Fennec Alpha 2 is only available on Nokia's N810 Internet Tablet, quite a few new features have been added to the new release to make it more snappier and a User Interface that resembles the big bad Fire fox. Check below for the main added features in Fennec Alpha 2:

*Faster panning
*Faster zooming
*Improved responsiveness while pages are loading
*New content manipulation hooks for extension authors
*Look and feel improvements to improve usability

That's about it, lets hope we don't have to wait too long for the full version to make us love our mobile even more.
