Nokia said that the Nokia 6208c's 2.4-inch touchscreen is optimized to write Chinese characters and messages in the most natural way, with a pen.
"The design of the stylus, attached to the back of the phone, is inspired by bamboo slips and works perfectly with the large color display which is reminiscent of an ink stone, another element from traditional Chinese art and culture," said a Nokia announcement.
A number of other languages and characters are also supported.
The Nokia 6208c has a 3.2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 4x digital zoom. It also supports optional microSD cards up to 8GB for storing as many images, videos, music and more.
A tri-band handset (EGSM 900/1800/1900), the new phone also has Bluetooth 2.0, support for tethering, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 6208c starts shipping in select markets in the first half of 2009.
