Samsung has added 3G/HSDPA connectivity to the i8510, a Symbian S60-powered handset, to satisfy speed-crazed American (and Canadian) users.
The i8510, known in other markets as Innov8, is now equipped with dual-band UMTS (850/1900MHz) radio, enabling users to surf the internet on HSDPA speeds.
A slider-phone, the i8510 has an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flashm digital image stabilization and facial recognition. It also has WIFI, built-in GPS, microSD card slot for memory expansion, and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2, to complete its great offering.
No date yet though on when Samsung (or AT&T and Rogers) will start rolling out the new i8510 but we will keep everyone posted.
