Up from $3.58 billion last year, Taiwanese mobile mogul HTC posts $4.61 billion in sales for 2008, largely due to the release of the HTC Dream, known as the G1 on T-Mobile. HTC also said that sales for both the Touch Diamond the G1 met company expectations.

What does this mean for the future? HTC is aiming for 20 percent revenue growth in 2009, and has a game plan to get it done - they plan to introduce 10 new devices to the market this year, with some sporting Windows Mobile and some with the Android OS.
