Jan 12 Nokia to introduce new 1006 handset to North American CDMA markets

More news are coming from the Consumer Electronic Show 2009 in Las Vegas. Another one is Nokia's introduction of the 1006 low-end candybar handset for the North American CDMA markets.
This basic handset comes with voice memo, speakerphone, address book of up to 500 names, 262,000-color display, polyphonic ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers, 2.5mm headset port and Bluetooth.
Prospective buyers may choose from two handset body colors: blue or silver.
The 1006 will come out within the first quarter of 2009.
